Hi

Just wanted to drop a note in here to possibly kickstart a conversation. Been dithering about it for a while, but figured 'hey, just do it'.

I'm here. I want to be here. I want to post. However, for whatever reason, I'm struggling with it. I *think* it's because I'm finding that there's a distinct lack of direction. The current Lethe thread is not heavily posted (it's been static for the better part of this month), and when folks *do* post, it's feeling fairly disjointed and broken. I'm not sure that having the more active members of the thread captured has helped.

I don't know what to do to move the story on. I've tried to move my character into a place where the story could be guided, but since my last post, I've just... sat there. 

Do I sound whiny? I don't want to sound whiny. I'm just... frustrated. I was dead keen to get moving again, but the board that sees the most activity is the personal threading board, rather than the team efforts. And that's cool, y'know? If that's what people want out of their game experience, that's completely cool. But it's not what I was hoping for.

I love you guys. I love this place, but I'm at a loss as to how to move my character forward.

I'm definitely in the same boat as you. In both of the mission threads there isn't much more I can personally do as Ayden hung back to do some translating and Kieran has been captured. I was trying to leave some room for another one of the captured folk to reply but there hasn't been any movement. I could post again but I don't want to take over the thread or lead it all on my own. It would definitely help if we could figure out a way to fix this and get everyone posting again!

I agree completely that the current threads have stalled. How about this: we close out Part II asap, and start a Part III thread with all the remaining characters and go after Hades?

My suggestion: on Lethe, reinforcements arrive (just about to write some in) who with Andy Buchanan and whoever else is around go into the tunnels and force Hades grab a prisoner (Kieran "Bear" O'Shea ?) and escape. The teams falls back to the base. On Akrotiri, Ayden "Ghost" Sheppard translates something on the device that we've found and declares it to be a bomb - we all run away and narrowly escape the explosion. End of Part II.

We open Part III with the team hatching a crazy plan to take out Hades. I'm thinking a crazy science plot - making a black hole, reversing the polarity of Hades so they attract asteroids rather than rappel them, etc. I vote for Andy to come up with the hair brain scheme - he is renown for them!

We lure and capture/kill Hades and are back on Earth in time for happy hour. The end.

Thoughts? Comments?

I'll jump on the PMs/Facebook and see if anyone else is interested. Mind you, if we're all back in the one thread we should manage.

I'm here too, just not as often as I love to be. Since RL and work eat my time. I log in/come online with intent to post, but end up disappearing for hours on end on my days off (and they don't even feel like days off). And this issue of mine isn't just for this site, but every site I'm either a member or part of staff.

Last I was on as Kim, I was waiting for someone to post. After that I hadn't taken a peek. Maybe I should.

I'm still here too. I've just had a bad month. I was transferred to another store for October at work and I had a low period with my depression. It just got to a point where no one was posting and I kept checking....just needed to back off for a bit.

Sounds great to me! I'll get posts up shortly. I have a couple of 16 hour shifts a week and I'm pretty beat by the end of them but I will get posts up!

Works for me. Sorry for going poof again. This is a bad habit I seem have acquired recently, and can't seem to shake it off. I was hoping that novelty of this habit would wear off. I was also trying to come up with a wrap up as well, but failed.

I've just closed out the threads for the time being, hopefully in the New Year we can find time to work on Part III and bring the story to a proper conclusion.
