When they were four there father tried to gain custody of them in hope to gain money by them living with him, it failed but he was granted supervised visits and visits which he word never use. The only time they'd ever hear of him again was at the age of ten when it was reported he'd died of drink and driving. There refusal to attend the funeral spoke for it self and ever since they'd proclaim them never had a father.
There mother dated a number of men over the years but always put Shauna and Sinead first and never getting in to a long term relationship or one to there knowledge. Despite the death it was the best thing that could of happened to them, there grades went up straight away with there grandad only happy to spend time with them, this helped him overcome his pain and there mother saw this as a chance to turn to full time with the Coast guards when the position opened. With there mother in the Coast guards there granddad would take them up in to the air and over time they would clock in more flight time than most pilots twice there age by the time they were Sixteen. The twins were pretty much the same despite small difference. At Eighteen Shauna's passion to be in the air was set and Sineads was else were. Family:
Sally Keys (Mother)
Thomas Murphy (Father, Dead)
Sinead Keys (Twin sister)
Barry Keys (Grandfather)
Anna Keys (Grandmother, dead)
Personality:
To Shauna family has always been the one root in her life that was important, it's what gives her strength knowing that when she returns home no matter what good or bad her family will be there to support her. A picture of her and her sister together always hangs close to her pillow.
Just like her family, Shauna will thrive at her fullest in a team, to her a team is just as much as important as family. This was the view of her former commander who drilled it in to her head 'A family needs to look out for one and other as it can only reach it's fullest in this environment'. This was a practice Shauna took to her training and what got her noticed.
Through her service in the Irish Air Corps Shauna has yet to engage with a hostile enemy, the only enemy she has faced are those in training. If conflict arises she is all too willing to follow orders and engage, but deep inside she is a firm believer peace should always be the first option.
Shauna has two sides to herself, the one in the cockpit is full of confidence and is not afraid to use her fears to push herself to the limits. Even to the level that would make her brag, it has been search and rescue that has done this to her. The close flying near to the Irish cliffs and the saving of sailors in the rough Alantic sea have fueled this.
When it comes to land Shauna holds less confidence, even despite been told she has good marksmanship and ability in following out orders, she holds that doubt.
With all the things that have happened to help her join the Delta mission, she understands there is a bigger play plus were about on the ladder she is and that she can't always get the full picture. For this reason she is a firm believer in the chain of command.

Shauna could hardly believe the heat of the sun, in all her life she had never felt a heat this strong and that was just the shade. She just couldn't understand how the Americans put up with this a heat like this everyday and train in it too. In all her life she had never taught you could miss the rain so much, the air was dry and lacked that moist feel she would get back home in Ireland. She was half tempted to find the nearest fridge and jump in to it.
Shauna sat back against the wall in the shade, watching the ground crew walk back and forward on the tarmac showing no affect by the heat of the sun. For a number of weeks she had been stationed with the U.S Air Force to train with Aircraft far advanced than the Irish Aer Corps aircraft and she had to admit it had been a hell of a ride. But all rides had to come to a end, hers was today and despite that she still held a smile on her face.
" You got a light ?" Shauna turned towards a finale voice, but just couldn't place the face in the U.S Air Force uniform as he waved his hand to prevent her from getting up." Don't get up, I'll come down to you." Sliding down the wall he sat on his hunkers.
" Do I know you ? " Shauna replied,
"Yes, year and a half ago you gave me a light," he smiled as Shauna finally noticed the General pins, as she went to stand up as a sign of respect the General placed his hand on her knee to preventing her from standing." Let's keep this casual, relax"
" Well than been low key how may I help you sir,"
" I'm here to help you, the instructors say your a natural, all your missing is wings out you back one said," His eyes remained focused on hers," Now you have one of a life time choice L.T Keys, go home and go back to flying Helicopters and out dated aircraft or.."
" Or what she" butted in as he paused
"Believe it or not, me meeting you help me out of a tight spot, I just want to return the favor." his words never wavered as he gave her his full attention. We requested you here not to train but to prove you had what we needed. But first you need to answer a question. Go home or will you trust me. "
She looked him straight in the eyes and spoke with words she went full heartily," I trust you,"[/b][/b]
