Personal History: Grew up in London, always was a bright student. Is an only child and was always fascinated with the second star to the right in the night sky. Has a knack for mathematics and science and can often be see listening to music while doing her work. She comes from a rich and noble family that has come from a long line of Lords. So Cara has been brought up on formality and manners. The Aristocrat Society is what Cara grew up to, she went to the best schools, and went to all the social gatherings with her mother and father, being the dutiful daughter. She was very happy to go to Oxford when the time came to off to University. Instead of going into politics or something of the like, Cara followed her heart and went to study sciences, finally settling on Astrophysics. While her father supported her choice of academia, her mother did not, rather wanting her daughter to be a debutant like herself, looking to marry to further her status. Cara and her mother have always been at odds with each other.
While Cara was working on her dissertation for her PhD, she was approached by the US government about a program that was running in Colorado. Apparently someone had put in a good word about her genius when it came to her field of study. Cara interned at the SGC while she worked to finish her dissertation. She studied under the likes of Dr. Lee and Sam Carter as well as others at the Base in Colorado.
Once she had her PhD in Astrophysics, Cara jumped at the opportunity to go to the Delian Galaxy. She wanted to get out there and experience the universe. There has often been a disagreement with her parents about what she can and cannot do due to her status. Nonetheless, she took the job hoping all would work itself out.
Shortly after joining the expedition, Cara found herself in an unlikely position, the newly titled PhD found herself Chief Scientific Advisor, a job for the most veteran. She handled herself with pride and discovered many new things, although her pride was often coupled with uncertainty.
She worked hard, but perhaps too hard. After getting some news that her father had passed away, Cara had returned to Earth to deal with matters back home. She spent some time in England but also kept working in the US for Homeworld Security. Cara often went back and forth between the Delian Galaxy and Earth in the first few years of the Expeditions existence. She earned herself a second PhD in Quantum Mechanics. Her mother passed away two years after her father did.
She has spent the last several years working on various projects for and with the Stargate Program, though she has not left Earth in at least 6 years. Cara has even taught a few semesters at a school or two as a guest lecturer. There has been much pressure for her to settle down, get marries and have children as she is a titled woman, but it hasn't been in the cards for Cara. She has been married to her work for the most part and has very little time for courtships.
Family: Coyle(mother - deceased) Lord Edmund Coyle(father - deceased)
Personality:
Cara is quite the introvert, she take much pleasure in solitary work and can find being around people she doesn't know quite bothersome. Though usually once she is comfortable around someone, she much more open with herself around them. Having grown up titled, Cara has grown up to be a bit reserved apart from her natural introverted tendencies.
Cara sometimes can come across as entitled, having grown up titled, and then getting prestige positions so quickly after finishing her first PhD, like she's better than those below her. Cara is not without a sense of humility when reminded of this fault in her thinking.
Cara will fight for what she believes in especially when she knows she's right. She can be strong willed, but methodical in how she interacts with other people. She will think about what to say instead of just saying what's on her mind. She tried to calculate how people will react to what she says and if she can't predict the outcome she will often just keep her thoughts to herself. She doesn't really care about what people think of her, she just doesn't like unpredictable outcomes. Cara has become more self-assured over the years, but always has room to grow in the social department.

Roleplay Example:
Cara sat in the backseat of the hired car, looking out at the Colorado scenery. It had been quite some time since she had visited the Stargate facilities. She spent most of her time various research facilities, here in the US, back home in England and other places of course, bouncing from project to project, teaching at a few schools. But here she was heading to an event, an anniversary of it all starting. 10 years since the Delian Expedition started. Cara was nervous about seeing so many old faces, keeping in touch with old acquaintances was hard when buried under so much work. Much had changed for people over the years, people got married, started families etc. All Cara had to show for her years, was the prestige she gained, various academic papers, the projects she worked on. Team efforts of course.
There was this itch she felt, as the car drove towards Cheyenne Mountain, an itch to get back into that adventure. It was the itch that kept her away from the place that housed the circular transportation ring. She had just as much adventure on Earth as well as offworld, and she wasn't entirely sure why she was so apprehensive of any offworld work. But this trip was social one, nothing untoward. Upon hearing that she was coming to the mountain, she had received a few invitations from some of the science team, inviting her to see some of the projects they were working on and perhaps might gain some of her insight. She was excited to have something to distract her until the festivities tomorrow. She tried not to think about who, exactly, she might see tomorrow as the hired car went through the first gate of the Mountain facilities, Cara quickly grabbed her credentials out of her back, ready to show security.
