1. All activity on the site must be in adherence with the Proboards TOS. Keep it PG - if they didn't say or do it on screen during Stargate, don't say or do it here.
2. Posts should be 250+ words in length, be written in third person, have speech highlighted in bold, be date and location stamped, and contain minimal Out of Character (OOC) content - use the message system or team rooms for planning and discussion.
3. Treat other players as you would like to be treated - cliche but true. Don't bring real life issues or arguments onto the site. If you feel as though you can't work with someone let the staff know and we'll arrange a confidential transfer with no questions asked.
4. Respect other characters - bossing around civilians and enlisted personnel will not be tolerated. Portray the chain of command accurately, but take time to listen to the input and ideas of others.
5. Avoid god-modding or controlling the actions of other players characters through your own posts. Focus on your own characters actions and leave posts open so others are not forced to respond in a certain way.
6. These rules should be read in conjunction with other site guidelines, such as those concerning character creation, Open Role Plays (ORPs) etc.
7. First time offenders will get a formal warning, second time your characters will face demotion and reassignment, and third time you will be banned from the site.
