1259 hours Stargate Command Gate RoomBeing in immediate danger wasn't a new thing for Will, and yet he still felt the nerves prickle within the back of his mind. There was this thing before them that was yelling a strange mix of threats, as well as handing out a welcome brochure to join Hades army. Honestly, he was getting mixed signals. What didn't seem like a good idea, was everyone yelling at the bullet-proof alien with insults. Ah yes, let's make him angry. That seemed like an excellent idea. However, what was done, was done - Will keeping himself out of the way. In all honesty, he wanted the tension to finally stop, so he could actually do his job. Now that all the injured - or at least most of them - were in the infirmary, the man had things he needed to take care of. People to help treat. While - yes - his crew of rather skilled professionals could handle it without him, the sheer amount of chaos would result in every hand being needed.
And yet here he stood - staring down a messenger of Hades.
A hand on his shoulder dragged him from his thoughts, causing him to glance back at Ayden Sheppard. Yet another familiar face in this odd reunion. He offered her a half smile - attempting to be reassuring. It was a somewhat sad attempt, but at least he was trying.
They'd be fine.
This alien would eventually stop talking, throw helpful pamphlets like confetti, then be on his way. If he was offering them a chance to join, perhaps he'd give them time to consider. That was reasonable. At least in Will's own head.
"Bomb!"
Or maybe not.
O'Malley helped usher people out of the room, saying such original things as, "Move!," and "Go, GO!" 1300 hours Stargate Command Briefing RoomThe blast was deafening. Even with the shields up and everyone safe - the sound reverberated through his bones and settled in his very core. Will's eyes were on the feed at it happened; the alien going up and ruining everything. How very rude.
"Those poor decorations," Will half-mumbled to himself, "I believe that was Hades' messenger adding to our celebration with his...internal organs, General," he already felt the level of poor-taste of his joke, before it was even gone from his lips. God, why did he talk?
"Alright...if nobody is bleeding out of their eyes, I'm going to head to the infirmary and help out my people there. This has been a rather...eventful get together, yeah? Let's do it again in another ten years," he shook his head, before his eyes landed on someone he - for whatever reason - wasn't expecting to see, "Hey Cara," he offered a wave, before clearing his throat and moving to the infirmary. <TAG: Troy Loveridge + Ayden "Ghost" Sheppard + Cara Coyle >1302 hours Stargate Command InfirmaryFinally arriving in his domain - still clad in his formal British Army attire - he was welcomed with an assortment of questions about the blast, "Things happened," he made a motion with his hands, "Probably be a formal briefing about it later. For now let's just keep these people from bleedin' out, yeah?" he quirked a brow - causing the other medical professionals to fall back into their rhythm.
His eyes landed on a soldier who was bleeding from the head - brushing off one of his nurses that was just trying to help. Shaking his own head, Will approached the man, "Well others do need help, but I'd still say you aren't 'fine'," O'Malley nodded, before grabbing a small flashlight off a nearby table, "Alright, I need you to - as awful as this sounds - stare directly forward as I shine this bright frakkin' light directly into your eyes. Keep holding that cloth against your head and we'll take care of that in a second. First want to make sure that your brain isn't sloshed around too much," he took a second look at the nearly bled-through cloth, "Eh, on second thought...here," he grabbed a clean cloth and handed it to the man, "Now look directly ahead for me. Can you tell me your name? Your rank? Why bad things always happen when I wear my formal attire?" <TAG: Kieran "Bear" O'Shea + anyone in the infirmary that wants to say hi>

1302 Hours Stargate Command InfirmaryKieran's vision was a bit blurred, not so much that he couldn't make out the many people being dragged into the infirmary and the nurses and doctors running about, but enough that most words were a bit of a blur, almost as if he was in some drunken haze. His head was pounding where the wound was, and his face had a few lacerations on it as well. He paid them no mind, however, because his main focus was on the larger wound on his head that wouldn't stop bleeding. Luckily enough everything was a dull throbbing pain for the moment, which he mainly contributed to the adrenaline rush that he had going on the other side of the gate, but now that he was slowly starting to come out of it his body would not be happy and he knew it.
When he heard an accent similar to his, Kieran looked up and a groggy smile crossed his lips as he looked up through heavy-lidded eyes, "Shouldn't you be telling me to not go towards the light, Doc?" He joked, trading cloths with the doctor before he held the clean one to his head and sat up a little straighter, trying to appear as put together as possible. "Kieran O'Shea. Sergeant. Royal Marines," he stated as he stared straight ahead for the British Doctor. "Because everything seems to go to sh*t when people are in their dress attire around here. It's like the bad guys know. Should start sending them the dry cleaning bills." < Tag: Will O'Malley + anyone else >

1300 Stargate Command Gate Room - Briefing Room
Cara thought it was just best to get out of everyone's way. There was much damage control to do, and her place was not here. She then climbed back up the stairs into the briefing room where the others seemed to be reconvening after everything that just happened. Cara could see various airmen starting to escort the various dignitaries and party guests out of the briefing room, the party was officially over. The room had a much smaller party of people now.
Cara stood at the top of the stairs, the door to the hallway in front of her, the group of people to her right. She thought about just walking straight forward, going back to her room, she wasn't needed here. Yes it was a tragedy that many people were injured and killed, and that something was going on, obviously, in another galaxy. There was always something going on. Cara felt a buzz next to her leg, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, another damn email about something. A voice cut into her thoughts about Dr. So-and-so's latest updates on Project with a cleaver name, "Alright...if nobody is bleeding out of their eyes, I'm going to head to the infirmary and help out my people there. This has been a rather...eventful get together, yeah? Let's do it again in another ten years," Will had turned to go out the hallway that she was thinking of going out of. He looked like he saw something he didn't expect and he gave an awkward wave "Hey Cara,"
All Cara could do was offer an awkward smile in return, and then he left out the door. Yeah....that went well.
From the right, and in the center of the room she could hear various people arguing about when they did or did not know. It reminded her of the times when she had to break up arguments in the lab. She may not have their military prowess, but maybe she could just provide a voice of reason. "Listen, perhaps it would be better if we just take some time to gather ourselves. Tensions are high, people are hurt, and this place is just chaos at the moment. Give the good doctors time to patch people together, and the base personnel time to settle this place down a bit and then we can figure out what exactly has happened and what can be done about it." Cara could feel her cheek go slightly red at speaking up in front of people of authority.
<tag the briefing room>
(OOC: I was thinking this would give us a chance to settle things down and come together, maybe move some time along, but it's also open to not moving time along. Up to you guys!)

1259-1300 Hours Stargate Command Corridor outside Embarkation Room
More threats were traded between the soldiers in the room and the black figure, it was coming together who it was apparently it was a messenger from a Olympian, Hades in particular, nothing had come up during the time he'd been in Akrotiri it had all seemed they were very much gone from the Delian Galaxy. obviously now though that was no longer true.
The being then directed it's attention to the only person whose face he could really see and someone he only knew by reputation it was hard to not know of when at the Delta site. General Loveridge. The being then hit it's chest before nearly everyone in the room suddenly kicked into the kind of gear as someone called out "Bomb!" Most of the remainder of of yelling mixed together for Erik being outside the room, quickly enough everyone was out of the room and the blast doors where closing fast.
Almost as soon as they were closed there was a blast that shook the base. The explosion was quickly followed by the fire suppression system came on. Looking around as everyone was quickly soaked through.
1303 Hours Stargate Command Infirmary
Having made his way down to the infirmary it was clear the medical personnel were having quite a full work load. A couple medics or nurses were out in the hallway sorting through those that needed attention and since he could walk it was unlikely he would get seen soon, that however wasn't his main concern, that was his fellow expedition members he hadn't been there long but people you lived and work with in close proximity for even a few months it wasn't good to know some of them were gone or injured. He took his spot in the minorly injured/can wait area and waited for his turn to been seen.

1303 hours Stargate Command Briefing RoomWill announced, morbidly, that the explosion was likely the messenger of Hades blowing himself up, decorating the gateroom in the process. That was an image Troy wasn't going to get out of his head anytime soon.
"Well that should keep them busy upstairs," he noted as Will departed and made his way down the stairs and toward the elevator, destined for the infirmary up on level 21. As if the medical staff of the base already didn't have enough to deal with.
Looking around he could see that everyone was responding to the crisis in their own way. Some were making their way down the stairs after Will, intent on helping out the SGC doctors and nurses. Many of the senior executives and general officers were on their cell phones, fielding calls from their home departments and bases. Troy's own phone had been buzzing away in his pocket ever since the first band of injured personnel had arrived. He checked the device, and seeing that it was 'only' his office - meaning that the calls hadn't yet escalated to the Joint Chiefs - and he returned it to his pocket. It would be a long night on the phone no matter what time he started.
"Doctor Coyle is right," he added as Cara tried to bring some calm to the room. "I'll be very surprised if that 'Gate is still operational after that explosion. For the mean time we stay put."
Working in plans and policy, Troy knew all too well how long it would take to mobalise a response force to travel to the Delian Expedition. There was some contingent forced stationed at the SGC that could make up the bulk of the team, but they couldn't leave Earth defenceless. They mightn't even be able to make the trip depending on what state the Stargate was in.
"Help out where you can, but don't get in anyone's way," he explained. "Remember, we're guests on this base."
"They might need help with the Stargate," he suggested to Cara. She was, after all, a world expert when it came to the Stargate program. "And let's try and find out more about this Hades," he added to Ayden, Travis and Kim. <Adam "Sly" Collier , Alec Styles , Ayden "Ghost" Sheppard , Andy Buchanan , Cara Coyle , Elizabeth "Beth" Houghton , Erik Sorensen , Kata Harris , Kieran "Bear" O'Shea , Kimberly "Kim" McKinnon , Koren Telion , Marah "Tonobi" Law , Nolen "Dragon" Syaria , Robert "Jackal" Walker , Stephanie Martin , Travis "Wizard" Oxford , Victoria Ramel & Will O'Malley >

1303 Hours Briefing Room Stargate CommandAs if dealing with another so-called god from the was something high on the Stargate Program's list of favorite things to do. Somehow the organization found ways to get involved with the worst scum of not only the Milky Way Galaxy, but every other galaxy they stepped foot into. How these 'gods' kept surfacing was beyond Ayden, and was quite frankly getting annoying, but then again in this program the calm only lasted so long before all hell broke lose.
"I take it this is news to the NID too?" She was asked by her former commanding officer and Ayden nodded. The NID hadn't received any word on other gods or quite frankly, enemies that posed quite as big of a threat as the former 'lords' of the Delian Galaxy had posed. All had been quiet on the western front, so to speak, but only a fool would think that it meant the expedition was home free. Peace only lasted so long before another would rise to try and take the place of the destroyed gods. They had seen that with the Goa'uld and the Ori, so of course it was only a matter of time before the same happened in the Delian Galaxy.
The explosion, however, shook the seasoned pilot to the core. The vivid image that flashed through her mind of that thing being splattered across the gate room in the oh so classic way it blew itself up caused her to shake her head as she reholstered her trusty sidearm and ran her fingers back through her long hair. Almost as soon as this entire ordeal had started, did her phone begin to vibrate incessantly in her pocket but only now did she reach her hand inside it to pull it out. A quick glance at the screen told her that word was starting to spread to the outside world of the events of this afternoon.
Although Stargate Command was no longer Ayden's - nor anyone else's as it appeared - stomping grounds, she knew that they had to act fast. And who better to start looking into this creature than herself. Since her retirement from the Air Force the woman had went back to her roots as a cultural expert and now was time to flex those muscles. "I think I have an idea about him, but I'm going to search around a little in one of the research labs. I'll be there if you need me." She said before turning to head out of the briefing room. 1310 Hours Research Lab Stargate Command
The walk to the research lab hadn't taken too long. The hardest part being climbing over the sprawled out bodies waiting to get seen by a doctor or nurse. Dozens had come through the gate and it put the infirmary at a standstill almost with having to deal with not only the new patients but the preexisting ones as well.
Once she found a decent enough lab to call hers for the time being, Ayden immediately found a laptop and a few research items that would help her with this new creature. Everyone knew the story of Hades, but what made him come now and here of all places. The 'god' could have easily blown up the Ancient City in the Delian Galaxy and took over there, but he was warning the program on Earth which could not have been good news.
She pulled a screen up on her laptop and rubbed her jaw slightly, slowly shaking her head. This could be worse than they imagined. All mythology of Hades only got worse. This was going to be such a fun little adventure. < Tag: All >

1300 hours Stargate Command Briefing Room
When she saw the gesture to follow from Troy, Kim did so. With her hands behind her back, and noticed that Travis followed as well. Might do him some good to answer the question that was directed at her; himself as well. Given in her view it applied to him as well. If she went down she would drag him with her; here and now. Taking a moment to gather her thoughts and details from files that was known to her, "I assumed the same," Kim agreed, "however it seemed he isn't. Not even six feet under or his dead body floating in space - in pieces."
"There had been threats about his raising again," she added, "Three teams were assigned and deployed over various times since then to scout for his location or further information about his 'apparent' coming up appearance. They all came back empty handed and without any information that could help us further."
"One seer from our allied races send the same message," Travis placed further details, "Even then teams were assigned and deployed; came back empty. Two years after the prediction. Scouting for Hades was stopped. Given we had nothing to go forward with. No solid evidence around to tell us that he was around but alive. No one had seen a sight of him since Titan's fell."
"Other idea that was suggested that Titan's killed him," McKinnon offered, "That was the one that made more sense." The idea of internal organs decorating the gate-room made her want to throw up.
"I'm all in for finding out more," Travis agreed, "Let's start with mission files of other teams and see if they have anything we missed."
1310 Hours Research Lab Stargate Command
McKinnon made her way towards the labs after helping out, opened her laptop and began going through the mission reports from Delta's very first reports. Narrowing down to the mentions of Hades over the course of 10 years worth of reports was not going to be easy. Soon enough Travis Oxford had joined her in reading. What she was looking for was likely to be a needle in a haystack, however it was worth a shot to see what she could find. As she made her way by skimming most of the files, she was resisting the urge to throw the laptop towards the wall. All she could do was pray that her gamble paid off. If Hades was dangerous as his messenger claimed, she wanted to know what other teams had found.
All in all, she mused that they could use the sarcastic, full of snark Captain Oxford of Vedic Expedition if the need became.
Pausing her reading, she looked at the NID member, the face was a former Delta member, "Ayden, have you found anything?" Kim asked. Over the years both had severed Delta, the two had never interacted nor the chance had ever presented itself.

0823 hours Stargate Command Briefing RoomTroy hadn't slept all night, and it was showing. An all-night in his younger days had been an easy enough affair, and he'd spent most of his year of pararescue training operating off only a few hours a night. With the middle of the night and just before dawn being the best times to strike an enemy, his body clock was used to being messed with. However, he'd noticed that the older he got, the harder and harder it was to push through.
Luckily he'd packed a fresh uniform, and one that wasn't his mess dress. A few hours ago he'd found a shower and a basin to shave in, so at least in that regard he looked alright. It was the eyes that gave it away - they were slightly bloodshot and starting to developing some nice bags under them. There was little he could do except drink coffee and power on.
The evening had been spent alternating between being on the phone to the Pentagon and updates from the teams that were investigating the attack by Hades. The teams had started to piece together some details and loose intel on their enemy, and they were beginning to get an idea of the forces he commanded. Most of the injured in the infirmary had been stabilised, though a few weren't out of the woods yet. No loss of life as far as Troy knew, and it would be good to keep it that way. The latest reports from teams repairing the Stargate was that it hadn't suffered any permanent damage, but full operation was still a few days away.
"Alright, let's go around the table - what have you got," he asked those assembled. Almost twenty hours after the attack he'd called a number of the senior guests from the party up to the SGC briefing room to get an update on where their teams were at. The TV's along the walls of the room displayed the faces of senior military personnel, who were video conferencing in for the update. It felt like half the SGC, Fleet and Homeworld Command were sitting in on this meeting in some capacity. "Tell me we've got something."
It was be great to start the day with some good news. < Tag Adam "Sly" Collier , Alec Styles , Ayden "Ghost" Sheppard , Andy Buchanan , Cara Coyle , Elizabeth "Beth" Houghton , Erik Sorensen , Justin Anderson , Kata Harris , Kieran "Bear" O'Shea , Kimberly "Kim" McKinnon , Koren Telion , Marah "Tonobi" Law , Nolen "Dragon" Syaria , Robert "Jackal" Walker , Stephanie Martin , Travis "Wizard" Oxford , Victoria Ramel & Will O'Malley >

1302 Hours Stargate Command InfirmaryWill's lips turned upward in a smirk, as the kid made a joke about going into the light - noting the man's own accent that mirrored his own, "Well maybe you're talking to the Grim Reaper, eh? No real way of knowin'," he darkly mused - tossing the bloodied cloth onto a tray nearby, before shining a light directly into the man's eyes.
In the left eye, the pupils contracted nicely.
The man rattled off his name, rank, and organization, as O'Malley switched eyes, "Royal Marines? Good bunch. I'm British Army m'self," he nodded - watching the right pupil play nice with the pen-light. Laughing as O'Shea added his own bit about dress uniforms and chaos, Will shook his head, "Well, Sergeant, if you have a concussion at all it's a wee one. I can do a proper scan once some of it frees up," he motioned to the rest of the Infirmary that was - for a lack of a better phrase - a hot mess, "Now - let's take a look a that literal bloody hole on your head, aye?" <TAG Kieran "Bear" O'Shea >0823 hours Stargate Command Briefing RoomThe Infirmary had stayed rather exciting until about six in the morning - in which Will passed out in his office for an hour, before taking a shower and finally changing out of his dress uniform. If the dry-cleaners could save it this time, he would genuinely be impressed. The arms were both wrinkled to all hell, as well as soaked through with blood and other assorted fluids. The chest and stomach weren't much better - especially from someone directly throwing up on him shortly before he decided to retire for the day.
Perhaps it was time to just buy a new one.
Clad in his typical SGC medical uniform, he leaned on his hand, as his other cupped his second cup of coffee. His cheeks unshaven simply due to laziness, as hair that needed a cut managed to somehow be a bit of a mess despite him combing it after getting out of the shower. He swear it just listened to his mood rather than logic. Didn't obey the laws of combs.
Bringing the coffee back to his lips, he glanced up at Troy to his right, as he asked for updates, "Well," he began, setting his coffee back down, "I can't say much about Hades and that....bit," he made a motion with his hand, "But, the newly adopted personnel are all basically stabilized at this point. A majority of the injuries were minor. A bit of head trauma. Cuts. Bruises. A broken bone or three. There were more serious cases, but they were dealt with. Causalities were...low," he frowned as he spoke the words - never a fan of admitting they lost people, "Overall, it could have been far worse than it was," he shrugged, knowing there were exactly three people who had died who made it through the Stargate, but didn't wish to fill the air with such things at the hour. If they were curious, they could speak to him after or simply report to the Infirmary itself, "And...next," he made a motion at his left. <TAG: Adam "Sly" Collier , Alec Styles , Ayden "Ghost" Sheppard , Andy Buchanan , Cara Coyle , Elizabeth "Beth" Houghton , Erik Sorensen , Justin Anderson , Kata Harris , Kieran "Bear" O'Shea , Kimberly "Kim" McKinnon , Koren Telion , Marah "Tonobi" Law , Nolen "Dragon" Syaria , Robert "Jackal" Walker , Stephanie Martin , Travis "Wizard" Oxford , Victoria Ramel & Troy Loveridge >

Stargate Command
Briefing Room
Cara had been heading to the briefing room when her phone sounded with a message. She cursed herself for not putting it on silent. She could tell from the number that it was one of the research facilities that was in her current rotation schedule. She hadn't been one to settle down in one place for too long in the past few years. Since the Stargate Program reached global efforts of research and development, and Cara being one of the top minds of the Program, she rotated between facilities ever so often while keeping up with the others while she was away. Recently she had been on sabbatical from all of them, having spent the past 2 months home in England. She was due to be at the Swiss facility in a few weeks. This particular facility currently housed a particular egotistical asinine scientist that absolutely no one wanted to work with, Dr. Kavanagh. She would get constant emails from him about so and so doing this and that, how his team's research should be a priority blah blah blah. He always seemed a bit bitter that he hasn't been giving a prestigious leadership role in all his years in the Program, and Cara often wondered if he was truly clueless as to why.
This message was more of the same, but with the added stress of what had happened the day before, Cara had enough. She called the number and got Kavanagh on the phone "...no...you listen to me! I'm not your mother and it's not my job to make sure everyone plays nice with you, grow UP! You message me again with something that can easily wait until my arrival I will personally go back in time through the Stargate and make sure you never heard of the word Stargate, you egotistical asinine twat!" Cara firmly ended the phone call not realizing that she had entered the briefing room while she said that last little insult through the phone. She glanced up at the people sitting at the table and the group of monitors that had people, various important people, calling in for this briefing. "My apologies." she said as someone finished up their report. And empty chair just happened to right next to said person, so Cara sat down. There was time to be more awkward later, she had enough blundering about already. "And...next,"
"The Stargate is a bit banged up, there are various cabling in the Gate Room that need to be replaced that were damaged by the blast, and it's been discovered that quite a few circuit boards and wiring in the upper level power circuits that we use for 8 chevron Gate dialing are in total need of a rehaul. Something about a mishap with the sprinkler systems." Cara reported. "Although in my opinion I don't think, even with our systems at 100%, that we'd get a gate lock with the Delian Galaxy. With the show that was put on for us by this Messenger of Hades, I doubt that they would make it easy for us. They want us crawling on all fours, coming before them to answer for our crimes."
Yes...voice of reason. That was why she was there at all. It's not like she had been involved in the goings on of Delian Galaxy in quite some time, and Stargate Command had their own personnel to deal with Stargate operations. Perhaps it was the nostalgia getting to her that caused her to stick around and attend this meeting.
