1257 hours Stargate Command Briefing Room"Peaceful?" The creature snorted, finally looking down at Troy, becoming more enraged, "Hardly. Do not think your genocide so easily forgotten. It was you who ventured across the stars only to destroy our kind!" The creature said, pointing directly at Loveridge. Koren followed the lead of Will's hand on his shoulder as he dragged the SGD member back off of the platform. As he passed Troy, he gave the man an uncertain look; Koren had never dealt directly with an Olympian, only in space combat. While he had faced many advanced threats in the Delian galaxy, the Olympians tendencies were not as known to him. But their tactics were, and Koren hoped this Olympian would be stay true to their much spoken of 'honor' in battle. "I bring a message from Hades, God of the Underworld, to all souls on this planet." The creature continued, looking from Troy to the Control room, where Koren was sure General Carter was leaning on the desk intently observing every move of the beast, "Your presence in our realm has brought only destruction and death to our people. Your alliance is already answering for their crimes; join them, and no more will befall your race. Contest us," The creatures helmet turned directly towards Nolan, lowering his voice to a growl, sounding almost pleased, "And your people's extermination will be as swift and merciless as hers."
The creatures gauntlet-ensconced hand reached out towards Troy, making a fist, "Join Hades in the Underworld; atone for your insolence," a smile growing on the creatures voice, the race of his words slowing for effect, "or you will find yourself wishing you had."Koren's fury had grown at the sight of Lisa's lifeless body, and he was unable to keep himself from calling out in fury, "Who are you?" He needed to know who to kill first when he went through the gate to Akrotiri; nobody would be able to stop him at this point, and Koren guessed the same would be true for Nolan. They would accept the creatures ultimatum if only for the chance of watching it slowly bleed to death for hours, breaking every bone in its body. The helmet turned towards Koren, seemingly taking the Major in, then sharply, strongly and with pride, responded, "We are Legion, for we are many."<<TAG: Troy Loveridge , Nolen "Dragon" Syaria , Will O'Malley , @all>>

1248 Hours Stargate Command The Gate Room
Once Beth saw the bodies piling up down from where she stood, there was no way she would stand there and watch. She had to be good for something. Maybe if she looked at some of those less fortunate to have survived, the homicide detective could look for any possible clue(s) of how and why these people were running for their lives. Elizabeth was so used to doing things on her own that she didn’t even stop to let anyone know she was going down to help.
She was a bit out of breath probably due to the stilettos on her feet. This was only supposed to be a reunion and initiating of sorts, not this kind of disaster. Beth slowly walked around looking at the bodies, the injuries, the dead, and those who survived. She made sure to stay out of the way from the medics and doctors who were doing such an amazing job. There was order to the others asking for a set of rules of sort. Beth was anal about being organized herself; so having order here among the chaos, won her respect level to the top of the scale.
A tug at the agent’s sleeve caught her attention. It was a little boy crying. ”Can you please help me find my little sister and mom? I’m scared.” Elizabeth crouched down to his level and calmly replied, ”Well hi there. My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Beth if you like. How old is your sister?” Wiping some tears away with his sleeve, the boy answered, ”She is 2 moons and I am 6 moons. We got separated when we ran for the circle thingy.” Beth’s heart began to pound praying nothing happened to them trying to flee through the Stargate. She gave a warm smile and stood up. Beth reached her hand out as the boy grasped it. ”Let’s go find them. I am sure they must be safe.”
Elizabeth could only hope that this child did not become an orphan.
Not on my watch.
1256 Hours
As they began to walk and hopefully find the missing family, shots rang out. Beth quickly scooped up the boy and went for cover. She frantically looked for something to make the boy hide behind as she reached to back and pulled out her gun.
Hades? God of the Underworld? Now I’m officially in the Twilight Zone. Beth refused to move from her position keeping the nut head on target between the eyes. The boy began to speak. Beth quickly came to his attention with a shhh and the boy became silent.

1247 Stargate Command Guest Quarters
“Unscheduled off-world traveller! Medical teams to the gateroom!” Cara woke with a start. She was sitting at the desk that was set up in one of the Guest Quarters. Her neck was slightly stiff as she stretched it out. She was getting too old to be pulling all nighters, but one of the physicists had corralled her into showing off their research project to her shortly after she arrived the day before, and somehow she has stayed up all night reading. She must have fell asleep, jet lag catching up to her. Cara glanced at her watch trying to determine how much time she had until the festivities. Confusion spread as she saw the time, was that AM or PM? Cara quickly found her mobile phone and clicked the power button. Bugger! She had missed most of it already. She came all this way for this anniversary thing and now she's a no show.
She heard the klaxons go off, gate activity of some sort. Cara glanced at what she was wearing, yesterday's clothing but it was passable. Still, Cara took a minute to quickly change into the outfit she was planning on wearing, a simple knee length black dress with a bateau neckline, no sleeves and the skirt flaring out a bit with a belt around the middle. She put up her hair in a slightly messy bun that worked for a formal outfit and touched up her lipstick. Putting on her heels, Cara grabbed her phone and her ID with her and headed out the door.
1253-1257 Stargate Command On route to Briefing Room
Cara's plan was that she was going to act like she meant to arrive late. She felt only slightly bad about missing all the speeches no doubt. There was still time to mingle and perhaps eat something. Roaming the halls was like second nature even though she hadn't visited the Command Centre in quite a few years, her eyes clued to her phone as she checked any new emails that came through while she slept.
Cara traveled down a few floors via elevator, the door opened to the correct floor and glancing up from her phone she could see that hurried commotion from the base personnel. Her heart beat picked up slightly allowing herself be more aware of any immediate danger. It was when she got the briefing room that she heard the gunfire. She slipped her phone into a secret pocket in her dress and went towards the window of the briefing room, looking below at the gate room. She could see the injured people and casualties all around, various people helping, some dressed in their finest uniforms. And a single dark form stood on the ramp to the Stargate.
For some reason Cara could feel herself walk away from the window and head down the nearby stairwell to the control room below. Part of her mind was telling her to stay away from the danger, the other part was telling her that she just needed to know what was going on.

1257 Briefing Room
All was chaos. This was perfectly normal and nothing at all to get alarmed about. Over the past years, it'd taken more than sirens and screaming to agitate Andy into anything but a slightly heightened state of awareness. Even at Area 51, where things had been comparatively peaceful, there were frequently sirens sounding as various objects reacted badly. He took a glance around and quietly assessed where he would be best placed to help and it was not anywhere that weapons were going off. He'd arrived for a celebration and had been off field duty for months, so as a consequence, he was not armed. He never carried a weapon when he was off-duty, and that made him - right here, right now - a liability. His medical triage skills were basic at best, but he began to pitch in with the countless people who were staggering, dazed and bewildered from the Stargate.
Without so much as being told to do so, he quietly and efficiently established himself, and then found two other soldiers to join him, in a thoughtfully placed perimeter that stopped people wandering absently. He made sure people were pointed in the right direction. He stopped them from entering the facility - or at least from getting too deep into it and getting lost, or worse. Eventually, he left the two soldiers precisely where they were - both of whom were briefly wondering exactly who the British man was who'd just effectively ordered them around. They didn't complain: they'd understood his end goal and were happy to achieve it. Besides, he'd had that air of 'knowing what he was doing' about him.
How Andy would have laughed had he heard that.
Now aiding an elderly woman who was wincing in pain and crying out every time she stepped forward, Andy steered her with great determination towards the medical section. Her pain was clearly immense, but she refused his offer to carry her. She did, however, accept the Lieutenant's arm with quiet gratitude and he patted her hand reassuringly.
"I'd like to tell you it's all going to be alright," he said, somewhat apologetically, "but I'm not entirely sure what 'it' is. What I can promise you, however, is that we're going to get you some help and some pain relief. So in that sense... you'll be alright." His words were clumsy and awkward, but they seemed to work. The old lady gave him a quivering smile and leaned on him a little more heavily.
As they rounded the corner and joined the throng that was beginning to cluster around medbay, Andy looked around the crowd, trying to locate anybody who looked faintly medical.

"And your people's extermination will be as swift and merciless as hers."
Marah could see that Nolen was already in a rage but this comment caused the normally fun loving pilot to go into a bloodlust after the speaker, "Yours will be Fraking slow and same to that imposter Hades!" Nolen screamed at him trying to break free of Marah. Marah looked behind to see Doctor Zelenka Kirov quietly making his way to her with a needle in hand, Sergent Gabrial Stoneham was also helping Marah keep Nolen out of harms way. Then slowly the pilots strength faded and he slowly drifted into the chemically induced coma that Kirov had in the syringe. "Stoneham, help the doc with Nolen. Van Schmitt, thanks" she told the two men dragging the limp body of Nolen away and the German sniper who had just passed her a weapon.
"We are Legion, for we are many."
"Soldiers! Wall now. Why hello Legion, this is a P-90 and it really wants to be your friend" she spoke as the soldiers all entering the room listened to her order and lined up between the newcomer and the wounded and VIPs. "Well Legion we are the Tau Ri. Defeaters of the Gou'ld, Wraiths and Olympians and you have now made yourselves our next target. And trust me you will regret that" she spoke with a calm and commanding voice.

1257 hours Stargate Command Gate Room
Victoria had made her way down to the Gate Room, following those from the Briefing Room. She scanned the faces of the wounded who were being treated in the corridors that fed into the Gate Room. She didn't recognize anyone, which wasn't always a good thing. She had only been on the base a few months, but those she had gotten to know weren't here...so where were they?
Dr. Ramel stood in the doorway, the Stargate ahead of her on her left. The iris was now closed, and an armored man spoke.
"We are Legion, for we are many."
Victoria tried to suppress an awkward laugh, which earned her a disapproving look from a few soldiers between her and the gate ramp. It wasn't a laughing matter in any sense at the moment, not while there was blood on the floor in the Gate Room. Still, she had never met an alien campaigning for a God let alone one posing as a God. And the way they spoke was just as cheesy as some of the reports she had read over the years. Plus the mention of Hades made her picture the Disney version of the same namesake - blue hair, pale skin, and bad jokes. She had a chilling feeling this was not the same Hades.
Still, she hid in doorway watching things unfold. Scanner in hand, she tried to scan for any type of odd power signature within the Gate Room maybe shedding some light on the masked man and his flashy suit of armor. At this distance however there was very little she could do.

1256 hours Stargate Command Briefing Room
Dumbstruck at Troy's action, Travis wasn't sure who was worse. The General or Captain Robert Oxford. Perhaps both were, in their own way, or perhaps Bobby had rubbed off on the General. He couldn't discard that fact. Giving a quick order to the SF's to take Garcia to safety, he quickly followed Troy. By the time Travis reached there, it was going from the pan and into the fire. Which didn't brood well either. He pulled a zat out from one of the guards on duty and moved more towards Troy. Don't do anything foolish, Oxford prayed.
"Hey," Travis shouted at the figure as he tired not to hoover around Troy to keep him out of the harms way, "We were protecting our own." As the creature went on, Travis couldn't help but grunt in frustration, "You can tell Hades, we will send him packing back to where he came from."
Many? Travis stopped himself from groaning, and sharply faced Kim, "McKinnon," he barked out her name snapping her out form her shock state, "YOU better start talking." There was no better person than her to answer about this mysterious threat.
Kim winced as Travis started using his rank. He was scary when he did. Standing next to him, out of habit, "I'm not going to admit to something I know nothing about. Who are they, where they came from, I have zero idea." Looking at Troy, "If Hades has been gathering his army, he has done a great job of keeping a low profile and not draw attention."
Travis glared at her, but knew it was going to be useless to start a war of words, "Then I suggest you start finding out," his voice was sharp but clear of what he wanted her to do, "This is happening on your watch." If he was in her spot, he would scramble to find answers.
Tipping her head to Travis, "Yes sir." Just gimme time to get to Delta first.

1257 hours Stargate Command Gate RoomHonestly, any sort of Stargate even that went down without a hitch, was more rare than not. It always seemed like something was going mildly sideways - especially within the SGC. Things had quieted down in the past few years, but only just. Typically it was his department that did the clean-up on these occurrences. A strange alien disease. Injured soldiers. Other...alien diseases that didn't seem like diseases. And yet again, things seemed to fall into the Infirmary's warm grasp; just with the added flavor of a giant man in a black body-suit walking through the Stargate.
As O'Malley gently guided the Major in font of the alien - the sound of Troy's voice took a touch of the edge off of Will's nerves. He knew Loveridge was just a man who couldn't exactly fix everything that was going wrong; but after years of serving under him, it was a knee-jerk reaction to think things more possible when he was around.
The alien seemed to not really enjoy Troy's speech - using the big 'genocide' word...which was fair. They had killed a lot of powerful aliens while they were milling about. In their defense, it was normally to cover their own rears. Not that this alien would care. In his eyes, they were evil. The enemy.
When the topic changed to who sent him, O'Malley's brows shot up - slightly bloodied forearms crossing in front of his chest. Hades. Will's dark hazel eyes went from their new friend to Troy and the others. Most of the things that existed with names from Earth lore, were the origins of that story. So whoever this guy's boss was, had made some humans think that he was the God of the Underworld.
That was fun.
In a surprising turn of events, however, an invitation to...join Hades was put forth. O'Malley's lips parted, but then he thought better of it. A snarky remark at a messenger from the alien-equivalent of the Underworld seemed like a terrible idea. Koren - on the other hand - actually asked a reasonable question.
"We are Legion, for we are many."
"Did he take that from a movie?" Will's voice quiet and mostly to himself.
Soldiers then entered the area - O'Malley using the opportunity to place more space between himself and the man-in-black. The retort via Captain Law, brought a small smile to his face. Now that was how to tell an alien to get frakked.
This was going well. <TAG ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL>

1258 hours Stargate Command Embarkation RoomThe advantage of the creature's monologue was two-fold.
Firstly, it revealed his allegiance to Hades. The god of the underworld had been a minor leader during the expedition's war with the Olympians. He hadn't been stationed on the capital world of Olympia, and by the sounds of it, had survived the war and was coming for pay-back. While not every single mission report from Delta came across his desk, Troy was broadly aware of what they had been up to since he'd left. He didn't recall seeing a mention of Hades prior to today, and from what he understood, Hades had been considered KIA.
The second advantage was that it gave the SGC medical teams, assisted by some of the guests here for the celebration, to get almost all of the wounded out of the embarkation room. Based on what the armoured creature was saying, he had no intention of negotiating or laying down his weapons. There was likely only one way the messenger of Hades was going home, and that was in a body bag.
Troy's biggest concern now was how many of them the creature would take with him.
The monologue concluded with a quote from the Bible, to which Captain Law issued a threat that the people of Earth would not go quietly.
In the hallways Troy could here the base security teams teams setting up. From the corner of his eye he could see a squad armed with heavy machine guns stacking up in the hallway, awaiting orders to move in. Some of the team members were carrying M-699 energy weapons in response to reports that bullets were having little effect. Troy assumed a similar squad was setting up in the other corridor.
As he looked around Troy saw the remaining expedition personnel, bloodied and wounded. The creature had come here to deliver a message - that Earth should stand down. The problem was, that wasn't the message everyone in this room was getting. Anger and resentment was the overriding emotion at the moment rather than fear.
The time for negotiation was over.
"Lay down your weapons and get down on your knees," Troy ordered. "If you come quietly no harm will come to you." He waved to the security teams, who moved in and took up firing positions. Unarmed, the General took a few steps back toward the rear of the room, not wanting the obstruct anyone's line of fire. < Tag Adam "Sly" Collier , Alec Styles , Andy Buchanan , Cara Coyle , Elizabeth "Beth" Houghton , Erik Sorensen , Kata Harris , Kimberly "Kim" McKinnon , Koren Telion , Marah "Tonobi" Law , Nolen "Dragon" Syaria , Robert "Jackal" Walker , Stephanie Martin , Travis "Wizard" Oxford , Victoria Ramel & Will O'Malley >

1259 Hours Stargate Command Corridor outside Embarkation Room
The whole experience wasn't completely gone on him as much as he'd taken more than a good wack to the head he remembered a few things being carried back through the 'Gate as the attack on Akrotiri continued.
Strangely he also remembered breakfast taken during a very early morning diagnostic, rice crispies and strong coffee the next thing he remembered was just before he'd come through the Stargate, since then more had been able to stay within recall; getting off the ramp, being set down against a wall before being moved into the hallways. The bleeding had stopped so when someone came over he waved and muttered something about 'being better than some of the other blurry figures who seems to have far larger patches of red.
People still seemed to be rushing in and out of the Embarkation room as specific sound recall returned to Norwegian, in particular the sirens of the base followed by voices coming together, likely he'd suffered a concussion, a piece of the city had the decency only to wound him, feeling at the tacky flood had he been a couple centimeters to the left he would certainly have been in worse shape.
Struggling unsteadily to his feet hands on the concrete walls of the corridor to his feet as he heard one of the most peculiar voices he looked past the gathering military personnel stacking up at the door to the 'Gate room in front of him. Still somewhat blurry he tried to focus his vision on the big black roughly person shaped figure on the ramp, someone everyone else in the room had their weapons pointed at.
As he kept blinking try to get his world to focus, the contingent outside the room made their way in brandishing their weapons at the figure.
